Don’t forget to collect your tickets from Workers Blacktown at Member Services as they will need to be shown upon entry.

All attendees must pre-register online prior to the event, tickets will not be available for collection on the day.

FAQs

Who can attend?

  • Members: All members are welcome.
  • Non-member adults: One non-member is welcome to attend if accompanied by a member or by joining the club before the event. Membership will be available on the event day via the online portal, but we strongly recommend joining before the event.
  • Children: One member may bring up to five children.

 

What does a ticket include? 

Children’s Tickets (12 years & under):  Young Adults (13-17 years of age) Adults (18+)
    • Hotdog
    • Choice of a can of drink or bottle of water
    • Treat
    • Ice treat
    • Kid’s gift (categorised by age group)
    • Note: Items are subject to change and availability. Gifts are allocated based on age groups and cannot be swapped.

    • Adults can purchase items from the food truck/van located on the grounds.

Additional Tickets:

  • Ticket Limitations: Each registered child (0-12 years old) is entitled to one ticket.

Children can only be registered once. Duplicates will be removed from the system.

 

Food and Beverage Options:

  • Additional Options: Yes, more food and beverage options will be available to purchase from outsourced food vendors. Further details will be provided closer to the event.

 

Entry Requirements:

  • Membership Card: Members must present their current Workers membership card at the entry gates.
  • Bag Checks: As this is a non-alcoholic event, large bags and eskies will be inspected.
  • Wristbands: When collecting your tickets, wrist bands will be supplied, these must be worn on the day of the party.

 

Child Supervision:

  • Supervision: Children do not need to attend with their parent or legal guardian and may be accompanied by a grandparent or another responsible adult (18+). However, children must be supervised by an adult aged 18 or older at all times during the event.

 

Transport Options:

  • Members can drive or catch public transport to the event. A free shuttle bus service will be running from 9:30am on the day. Starting at Workers Blacktown and looping between Blacktown, Workers Sports and the showground. Please note that attendees must be over 7 years old to ride the courtesy bus.
  • Parking: On-site parking is available. Please drive slowly and follow the directions of the parking marshals.
  • Public Transport: Blacktown showground is located closely to Blacktown train and bus station.

 

Weather Considerations:

  • Weather Precautions: Limited shelter will be available, so we encourage attendees to dress in sun-safe clothing. In case of inclement weather, please check our Facebook page for updates.
  • We encourage members to bring along chairs, picnic blankets, or portable gazebos so they can comfortably set up in a suitable area and enjoy the event.

 

Photography & Videography:

  • Workers Blacktown will be photographing and filming this event for promotional and marketing purposes. Parents and guardians who do not wish for themselves or children in their care to be included in any photography or videography must advise event staff upon arrival. While Workers Blacktown will take reasonable steps to honour such requests, attendees acknowledge that the event is held in a public setting and photography and filming may occur throughout the venue. It is the responsibility of parents and guardians to take appropriate steps to avoid photography and filming areas if they have concerns regarding the capture or publication of images of children in their care.
